a note about writing

what if no one reads what we write?

i got this question recently.

don’t we ever doubt ourselves?

of course. writing is challenging and very personal, at least to us. we are not magicians who possess talents to formulate the perfect narratives within seconds, as if pulling them from thin air. it takes a lot of sweat, fear, doubt, time, dedication, and more fear. but at times, it’s  not about the size of the audience that motivates us to write. that might not be the ultimate goal. we measure success simply by completing a work. that’s where our satisfaction and joy prevails.
