discarded memories

hope is what you choose to believe
the argument that never existed
but a construct of your pain and hurt
someone has hurt you much
the abundance of discrete
flood of anguish
the raft that sailed without an ore out to the ocean
blame tarnishes it all
and i will not stand
be blamed for someone else’s deed
punished and mistreated
