Do I believe in god?

Someone once said to me, “The more we understand the things around us, the closer we are to god.” I love that quote. It stuck with me. I believe we are all important part of this immense energy and everything around us has its place and holds part of that energy as much as we hold part of that energy. We are all united, more than we would like to believe, no matter how different we might be. So, I believe that god is all around us and within us, the energy that intersects and intertwines everything into one immense play. The closer we come to understanding/accepting that, the closer we are to god/the unity between everything/the energy that surrounds us and illuminates within us.

At least that’s my interpretation of god.
